1952 Citroen-15CV

Styling So Advanced It Remained Unchanged For A Generation For the French, the Citroen was the equivalent of the American Cadillac, the standard for comfort and performance. The 1952 15CV illustrated European craftsmanship and technology at its finest. It featured 1930’s styling that was so popular it remained unchanged for over a generation. This styling featured a rear-mounted spare, free standing headlights, “suicide” front doors and a bi-fold opening hood. Citroen’s famous “Traction Avant” (front wheel drive) set new standards for road holding and response. Comfort and safety features such as independent front suspension and an all-steel unit-construction body and chassis added to its popularity.

Precision Crafted to S.A. Andre Citroen Specifications Andre Citroen was an inveterate gambler who was forced to sell his namesake company to Michelin in 1935. But it is safe to say, he would have loved this precision crafted hand-assembled 1:18 scale reproduction of the 1952 15CV, with its independent spring suspension, working steering system, opening doors and hood, detailed engine and instrument panel, all topped of with a factory fresh baked enamel finish.
