The First Model T 1909 Ford Model T Tourabout
A Car For Everyone
Ford Model Ts were so popular in this, their first year of production, that Ford was forced to stop taking orders mid-year for over two months, to let production catch up. This 1909 Tourabout was only produced in this one model from mid- 1909 through 1910. Costing $950, it was not as popular as the Touring Car because it had no rear doors, but it was the first Ford made with an aluminum, rather than wood body.
