National Motor Museum Mint Exclusive! The Most Famous Generation of Vintage Police Cars The Real Interceptor 1964 Ford Galaxie Police Car Perfect for Police Work It is the black and white truth that for over 100 years, Fords have been the dominant maker of American police cars. The National Motor Museum Mint™ has produced these exclusive 1:32 scale precision die-cast replicas to salute both the Ford Motor Company and the fine work of local police departments across the country. The 1964 Galaxie Sedan was even a more popular style with over 200,000 made at $2765. Like all 1964 Fords, it was totally restyled. This new restyling was so popular that Motor Trend named the entire Ford line as its Car of the Year. Although the V-8 engine was smaller than the 1958 one at only 289 cubic inches, advancements in technology had increased horsepower to 271. Features • Opening Hoods • Opening Trunks • Opening Front Doors • Precision Die-Cast Replica • 1:32 Scale Model • 6.5" Long The Real Interceptor 1958 Ford Fairlane Police Car Perfect for Police Work It is the black and white truth that for over 100 years, Fords have been the dominant maker of American police cars. The National Motor Museum Mint™ has produced these exclusive 1:32 scale precision die-cast replicas to salute both the Ford Motor Company and the fine work of local police departments across the country. The 1958 Ford line was particularly popular with the police due to the introduction of the big-block V-8 engine. Our Fairlane 500 Town Sedan featured the 332 cubic inch 240hp. Interceptor engine. Reasonably priced at $2527, over 100,000 were produced. Not only economical and sturdy, with its solid B-pillar, the Fairlanes were probably the most attractive squad cars ever. The anodized gold on the side panels plus quad front and rear lights put this car in a class by itself. Features • Opening Hoods • Opening Trunks • Opening Front Doors • Precision Die-Cast Replica • 1:32 Scale Model • 6.5" Long The Lawman's Equalizer 1949 Mercury County Police Coupe Perfect for Pursuit Although it wasn't built specifically for that purpose, no car was more perfect for law enforcement than the completely restyled 1949 Mercury. It was priced right with the 2-door coupe still under $2000. It was fast with the 110 horsepower flathead V-8 the liveliest, smoothest engine around. The rigid heavily reinforced all-steel body made it as safe as any car on the road. Most importantly for parkway patrols, the independent front-suspension featuring “Soft-Acting” coil springs and “Sea-Leg” telescopic shock absorbers enabled the 1949 Mercury to hold the road and provide great handling at high speeds. Features • Opening Hood • Opening Trunk • Opening Front Doors • Precision Die-Cast Replica • 1:32 Scale Model • 6" Long A Great Value for Law Enforcement 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe Police Car Economical and Versatile 1940 was not a particularly good sales year for Ford as Chevrolet outsold it 3 to 2. But as the years passed by, these beautiful Eugene Gregorie-desgined cars with their teardrop styling have taken their place among the most admired ever. Police departments flocked to the Deluxe Business Coupe (now referred to as the Opera Coupe) because of its $742 price and the power and economy of the 25mpg 85 horsepower V-8 engine. Later generations fell in love with the long deck and flowing body curves, making it the hot rodders favorite. Features • Opening Hood • Opening Doors • Opening Trunk • Ford Advertised the 85 Horsepower V-8 Engine as “The Greatest Engine in the Low Priced Field” • Precision Die-Cast Replica • 1:32 Scale Model • 6" Long
