Non-Firing Authentic ReproductionPirate's BlunderbussMade to Repel Would-Be Boarders
The Blunderbuss was a 17th century weapon used mainly on the high seas to repel boarders. With its single-shot action and lengthy reloading time, it was not much use as an attack weapon but was excellent to defend a ship. Able to fire shot, nails, glass or other materials, the blunderbuss caused great harm to its targets. Ours is a full-sized non-firing replica, authenticated by its wood stock, antique gray finish and skull and crossbones emblem.
