Darlings of the Depression Bonnie & Clyde Bonnie Parker, all 90 pounds of her, and Clyde Barrow, cut a swath across the Southwest in the early 1930s. While robbery was their specialty, Clyde “borrowed” cars for all his crimes. And they were almost always Fords. In fact, Clyde sent a letter to Henry Ford complimenting him on the reliability and speed of his new V-8 engines.
