Rolls-Royce of Fire EnginesAhrens-Fox HT Piston PumperThe Foundation of the Ahrens-Fox Legend
For over 75 years, Ahrens-Fox fire engines have been the most valuable of all pumpers. Today they are the highest priced antiques and have the largest percentage of existing vehicles. The front-end piston pumper, introduced in 1914, is the reason for their exalted position. Its' unique front-end pump could disperse 1000 gallons per minute and was very versatile, able to adjust for pressure or volume. Powered by a Hercules 6-cylinder 238hp engine, this 1940's Ahrens-Fox HT Piston Pumper is the most beautifully designed fire engine ever made.
