Overall Buick stood for value and reliability but the Grand National was the fastest accelerating U.S. car of its time. The Turbo Package turned the tame 110hp. V-6 into a 245-hp. Fuel-injected rocket. With its blacked-out exterior, the Grand National only came in black, and enormous acceleration, this regal was a land-bound stealth bomber.
