Chevrolet's Answer to the Mustang
1969 Camaro SS Hardtop Coupe
Best Camaro of All
1969 was the third year of production for the Chevrolet Camaro, G.M.'s answer to the Mustang, and it's first restyling. New sweeping lines and grille gave it a longer and lower look. Although labeled a budget-wise sports coupe (it shared many parts with the Nova), there was nothing economical looking about the SS option, particularly the 300hp. V-8 engine. This precision die-cast 1:32 scale replica combines both the SS and Rally Sport options resulting in racing stripes, hood scoop and blacked-out grille with hidden headlights. No wonder the 1969 Camaro is regarded not only as its best model but one of the greatest muscle cars of them all.
