Cadillac's Best Sales Year Until Then
After 10 years the 1965 Cadillac, although tapered at the rear, was finless. And, not by accident, they had their best sales year up to that point with 182,431 sold. Other changes for 1965 included a bigger single grille, vertical stacked headlights and a new box-section perimeter-type chassis that improved handling and noise control. This Deville 2-door hardtop Coupe sold for $5419 and 43,345 were produced.
