Ferry's First Production
1961 Porsche 356B Cabriolet
A Legend is Born
The Porsche 356 was the company's first production automobile, created by Ferdinand 'Ferry' Porsche and produced from 1948 until 1965. This smooth handling, rear-engine was available as a hardtop or convertible. The design of the 356 remained the same throughout its lifespan - most changes were functional improvements that simply added to the established blueprint. It is estimated that approximately half of the 76,000 units produced are still on the roads today!
