1953 International Metro Laundry Van
A Family Affair
Founded in 1906 by H.M. Wetlaufer, City Laundering Co. began as a small family owned laundry in downtown Oelwein, Iowa. In 1947, Herbert's eldest son Gerald took over the company. In 1972, Gerald's youngest brother Roger B. Wetlaufer became president and the company expanded their market area. His son Roger took over as president in 1991 and continues to lead the company today.
