The stylish "Advance Design" Chevy trucks had a cleaner look featuring a larger and more rounded cab, horizontal five-bar grille, single-piece rear-hinged hood design, and permanent split windshield. A new fresh-air heater/defroster system pumped used air out through vents at the rear of the cab.
