1941 Packard 180 Convertible Victoria
Brimming with Beauty
The above was Packard's 1941 ad slogan and no car illustrated this better than the 180 Convertible Victoria. Each one of the 25 built was custom-made by legendary California designer Dutch Darrin. Typical of his designs, this gorgeous 180 features a long graceful hood, split and slanted windshield plus chrome speed lines on all fenders. Under the hood, all Packard 180's had a 356 cubic inch L-head Straight 8 that produced 160 horsepower. Sold originally for $4595, if you could find one today you'd have to be prepared to spend almost $200,000.
