1939 Lincoln K LeBaron Convertible Sedan Last of an Era 1939 was the last year Lincoln produced their oversized (wheelbases of 136 to 145 inches) Model K luxury automobiles, although a few were produced in 1940 on 1939 chassis. Cars like this gorgeous LeBaron-built Convertible Sedan, at $5700, were just too pricy for the times, costing 6 times that of the equivalent Ford. Only 3 of these were built and only 133 total Model Ks were produced. It wasnt until the 1956 Continental Mark II that Lincoln produced a car that cost that much.
