The Firemans Favorite 1935 Mack® 75BX Fire Engine Built Like A Truck-From the Ground Up Ask most veteran fire fighters which brand of engine they prefer and most say “Mack”. The main reason is that, unlike many manufacturers who start with the equipment and work down, Mack always started by building a solid truck chassis and body. Because of this, Macks have the least defects when they arrive at the firehouse. Mack developed the B-series in 1928. The 75BX is a heavy-duty version of this series.
