The Ultimate Custom Car
1932 Cadillac® Phaeton V-16
Over 2.5 Tons of Flawless Beauty
Cadillac V-16's of the 1930's are among the most beautiful and valuable cars ever made. Although never big sellers, their style and grace left a lasting impression on the American public. In 1932 only 300 V-16's were built, 6 of which were custom-made Phaetons with bodywork by Fisher. At $4,695 (worth over $350,000 today), this Dual Cowl Phaeton weighed well over 5000 pounds. Although there has always been much talk about the V-16 engine, ultimately it is the long hood, sloping windshield, flared fenders, Heron hood ornament and four headlights that give the 1932 Cadillac Phaeton its timeless beauty.
